BABDOWN CAMP GLOUCESTERSHIRE

There were eight polish camps in Gloucestershire just after the war. Ullenwood and Staverton near Cheltenham were PRC camps. Stowell Park was a school and the five remaining camps, Northwick Park, Springhill, Fairford, Daglingworth and Babdown were family camps. There is a lot of information on the site about Northwick Park, Springhill, Fairford and Daglingworth but  nothing, other than these photographs, about Babdown.

The eight photos below came from Roman Skwara's estate, he lived in Babdon in the early 50s. Sadly I have no information about the people or events on the photos. If you lived in Babdown or can recognise anyone on the photos I would love to hear from you. Photos can be meaningless if they have no names, dates or events to identify them with.
