There were eight polish camps in Gloucestershire just
after the war. Ullenwood and Staverton near Cheltenham were PRC
camps. Stowell Park was a school and the five remaining camps, Northwick Park, Springhill, Fairford, Daglingworth and Babdown were family
camps. There is a lot of information on the site about Northwick Park,
Springhill, Fairford and Daglingworth but nothing, other than these
photographs, about Babdown. |

The eight photos below came from Roman Skwara's estate, he
lived in Babdon in the early 50s. Sadly I have no information about the
people or events on the photos.
If you lived in Babdown or can recognise anyone on the photos I would love
to hear from you. Photos can be meaningless if they have no names, dates
or events to identify them with. |
